4. Data Retention

5. Operator Data Ownership
Operators own their client data. Dina acts as a service provider/processor for that data in order to deliver product functionality.
6. Data Deletion Requests

7. Cookie Policy
We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session continuity, security, and product functionality. We may also use limited analytics and diagnostics cookies to improve reliability and performance.
8. SMS Messaging Privacy
This section applies to clients who exchange text messages with aesthetic service providers using the Dina platform.
How consent is captured. SMS consent is obtained through two paths: (1) an explicit SMS consent checkbox shown in our public booking page when a client provides a phone number; or (2) consumer-initiated SMS, where the client texts a service provider's business number first. In both cases, consent is stored as a timestamped consent record on the client's profile, and the exact consent language presented to the client at the time of opt-in is preserved in our internal audit log.
Phone numbers and SMS message content will not be sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS content are used only to deliver messaging services between a provider and their client, including appointment coordination, booking confirmations, follow-ups, and retention reminders requested by the provider.
We share SMS-related data only with the infrastructure providers required to deliver the service: Twilio (SMS transmission) and our hosting infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy terms and do not use it for independent marketing.
Message frequency varies based on client and provider activity. Clients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Standard message and data rates may apply based on the client's mobile carrier.
For SMS-related privacy questions, contact hello@meetdina.app.
